Dear all!
As many of you probably know, keeping reptiles and amphibians is still ILLEGAL in Norway, as the only country in Europe. For 30+ years we have been fighting for our right to have a legal hobby. For the last 6 years we have been making good progress, and all signs were now indicating that we should be able to legalize around 20 species. Not much, but a start… All parties involved agreed that this would be in the animals best interest, as there is around 150.000 illegal reptiles and amphibians in Norway, and list of legal and recomended species might help people choose the best suited species as their pets. Things wee looking very good indeed, until our incompetent minister of agriculture recently decided that there should be no change in this matter. His main argument is that "They dont belong in Norway"
Please help us figh for our animals by signing this petition, and spreading it to your friends. If it can happen here it can happen anywhere, and not just with reptiles…
